My name is James and I enjoy art. I have never been good with a brush in the traditional sense. So a few years ago I started using DAZ 3D software to express myself. This went well and is still something I enjoy doing at times.
But I have always had a love for photography from a young age. But have never had the confidence in any of my photos being good enough to show on the web apart from the odd few. But that change at the beginning of 2009 when I got my first digital SLR a Nikon D40X with kit lens. This is a great camera for a beginner like myself and has given me the confidence to show my work.
I am still very much an amateur in both art formats and would appreciate any feed feedback good or bad.

that's the kind of look that says "Ok, I know where you sleep. Give me food and there won't be any unpleasantness"

That's a cute shot, hope the bleeding stopped! (I was raised with cats, I know what you mean...) I really like how you caught that bold curiosity in his eyes.

Oh he looks so cute but obviously has a determined and quissical look in his eye, wondering why he isn't in his own territory. I have just been looking after my daughters 2 cats, one of which looks just like your brother in laws cat, and is the brother of my youngest cat Freddie who features in my gallery, along with the other 4 family cats. Fortunately for me my daughters cats were very purry and loveable, but have to admit did hiss just a tad at first whenever I tried to pick them up. This is a great capture of the holiday maker, hugs Jane xx
