I could live with this as desktop background image for a long time. This speaks volumes, if you know me. As with all of your works this reveals a great deal about the artist back of the art. I love the light, the shadows and the composition of this piece. Because the owl is about to take flight, it also captures that moment before movement where the story begins. Love this!

Beautiful colors, light and composition! I love the shape of the illuminated leaves. They almost make a circle, but in their irregularity and incompleteness there is great motion. The tree seems a sentient being, like the Ents of Tolkien, aged and wise. Perhaps the tree also watches. The contrasting shadowed branches in the foreground and background, give great vitality. I love the brown tones against the pine-green. Excellent lamp! It gives a warm and spiritually uplifting glow. Owls make a lovely addition! I love them too. Excellent image, with beautiful elements that combine into a wonderfully peaceful place!
