Made this from memory as I've looked out from there so many times!! This is the view looking toward Rugeley Power Station from Castle Ring. This is the only place there where there's a clearing in the trees so it's ironic that stuck right in the middle is the power station! Castle Ring is an Iron Age hill fort on the edge of Cannock Chase. It's the highest part on the Chase and it's also a triangulation point. Great for walking dogs!!! All of ours have enjoyed trotting around there I found a photo similar to my scene but this is taken standing right on the edge of the path and using the zoom lens. There's a very steep drop off the side and then it flattens out a bit and drops again down to 'civilization' :) Here's the link to the PHOTO if you're interested Thanx 4 peekin'
