Description

This picture has a very sad tail to it.My 2 Daughters were waiting for my wife to come from work. While they waited for my wife someone drove over this Fox Terrier. They took it to our flat.We made the injured Dog as comfortable as possible.Gave it food and water.I contacted our local SPCA.They came in the afternoon the next day to fetch the injured animal.I must still phone to find out if they put the dog out as it couldn't walk after the vehicle hit it.

That is horrible. I don't know how people can hit an animal and keep going. I had 2 animals dispatched that way in the past and it hurt worse that the person who ran over them didn't think killing something was worth a 5 minute stop. But this one might have made it. I have rescued 3 animals in the past hit by cars that couldn't walk and it was spinal cord trauma that, given a week to rest and pain meds, began healing on its own. I'll think good thoughts. How horrible your daughters had to witness this.
