Description

Leading the session was the chap in the blue shirt, back right, John Kirkpatrick. He is the finest exponent of English folk music on free reed instruments,eg concertina, melodean. And later on he signed my melodean , which was nice. Whitby folk week was awesome,I will be back next year.

I know of John Kirkpatrick from the past. Your capture gives a wonderful mood of the session. I am glad you enjoyed your time in Whitby. Hugs. Diane.

A wonderful atmospheric photography of this musical meeting! Is this what the gaelic call "cheilish"? Looks like the "transatlantic sessions"
