I can't believe it was 12 years ago, that the world stood totally still... Princess Diana... the love of every schoolboy and not so schoolboy bloke... doesn't time fly, when there is an idol in your life... I miss her... lots!

You definitly captured the "aura" of this woman in this portrait although it's not a look-a-like - good choice as it is really hard to capture a well known personality in a bunch of polygons. There is something timeless about this portrait... and yes, I know as well where I was when I heard it but have to confess that my world did not stand still as I am one of those who tend to say that so many innocent people die each day and no one cares about them because they are not famous (but that's just me and I am afraid that now I will get banned at least by the visitors of the galleries...).

Princess Di was meant to Die, just like the rest of us. 12 years = that is amazing how time flys. I remember watching her funeral on TV and thinking there was a lot of people... Maybe Michael Jackson's funeral got ya missing her too... Does you're artistic skills ever kick your butt and make you think what if??? What if, she would of stayed Married to Charles... What if, Charles and the Queen were both gone?? WHAT IF DI WAS QUEEN!!! HOW OLD WOULD SHE BE TODAY? WHAT WOULD SHE LOOK LIKE IF SHE WERE QUEEN? WHAT COULD DEANE DO WITH THIS???

When I was a young girl, I got up in the wee hours of the morning, to watch her get married. Years later I too cryed with the rest of the world, when I was shocked to hear that she died. Then again I stayed up into the wee hours of the night to watch her funeral. Still can't believe that that beautiful person inside and out is gone. Beautiful Tribute !! I too still miss her :)
