Description

These formations are referred to as "Hoodoo's" and located near Fairmont Hotsprings BC Canada. The height of the pipes and spires range from 50-150+ ft. Their consistency is clay, sand and rounded stones of all colours and sizes. Thanks for looking.

Cool formations, reminds me of the place they filmed the "paths of the dead" for the Lord of the Rings movies. great shot.

very interesting rocky formations ! I knew the Woodoos in Bryce Canyon but these are spectacular too ! Great capture !

Great image. More veil-like than Bryce Canyon in Utah. And pretty much without, or less pronounced bedding planes, as though the deposit was one tremendous volcanic ash fall. More than interesting.
