Description
An image of the Berlin Congress Hall built in 1957 as a present to Berlin from the people of the United States of America.
From its inception, modern forms and modern means of construction were central aspects of the planned building. Although always proffered as a symbol of "German American Friendship", the Congress Hall was much more a symbol of American modernism, both in terms of concrete form – construction technology – as well as abstract imagery.
Despite all the new buildings erected over the last 20 years in Berlin, the Congress Hall is still outstanding and spectacular.

Wonderful work! How did you manage to get all the people away and the lots of materials for fiestas, events and all those other things they put in front of our objects? Every time when I cross this place they plan another event and deposite their goods in front.... 5++++

ironic fact - a near-duplicate (our building was designed based on your building) exists in Raleigh, NC, at the State Fairgrounds...acoustics are terrible...;)
