Description
I am fascinated by olive trees. Why? I think it is the shape of many olive trees that does it. The twisted trunks for instance. And I think it is the fact that olive trees can get very old.. so an olive tree has his roots in the past.. It is believed that they can become thousands of years old..
Although the light was harsh at the middle of the day, when I took this picture in a Southern French orchard, I think the picture has become a decent one. A picture that honours the olive tree.

I also love olive groves. One of my favorite shots in my gallery is of an olive grove. They do have such interesting shapes and they are so very hardy in all weather and ages. Great shot.
