Description

My mom and I were visiting my uncle last year. The weather was very good for mid-september, so we decided to have our lunch outside. Just two meters away from our table this little fellow choose to have a dust bath. That little fellow is a house sparrow (Passer domesticus). I shot quite a few pics, and I'm posting the best. First I wanted to assemble the pics into a collage of some kind, but that didn't work out very well, so I'm posting them separately. No postwork, best viewed full size, of course. Enjoy!

Just am here looking through your sequence of five shots of the bath...like 'em all. I took a load of bird pics about a year ago. My understanding is that this is the way a birds gets rid of mites.
