Hey there,
I admit this concept isn't my idea - just had to see how I could manage to do this. Everything in this piece of work is pure C4D XL7, the background is however a rendering of my previous project (all C4D). Textures from deepshade and SLA, modeling by me. The DOF is crappy but that's how it is in XL7. Rendered with stochastic radiosity mode with the default settings - took about an hour with my G4/400/320MB. Tell me how this looks =)?

Looks just like I have my head on a table with my eyes open - wow - great DOF and sense of a real room and real light.

Initially it is fine but the DOF is a tad too blurry and that cup handle looks like it could break off. It would be cool if the cup was full of espresso with a little steam coming off.

Looks good to me,The dof isnt really that bad and the foreground works well with the backdrop.Over not bad at all!

good light and reflections, but what is that on the cup? Did you use dirtynuts?
