Hi there. After the moth taken a seat I stalk closer, take a shot, stalk closer, take another shot and so on... As I managed some shots I tried what I always try - tickle the moth to get a look on the backwings. And happily I could take some more shots. The moth showed her backwings and let me do what I want to do with the cam. Some informations a bout the species - they got a wingspan of 78 to 84mm, a huge one I think. The caterpillars eat willows and the adults feed on nectar.

moths seem much more relaxed than butterflies.if they are resting then one can carefully get right in their face.very beautiful macro
