Description

This was an experiment of mine to try to achieve realisic looking reflections in windows. I first needed an image of someone looking out of a large enough window and found a great stock photo from Neriah-Stock on DA, although I did extend the windows for a wider view. I then went hunting for a colourful night time view of a city and you can't go far wrong with a view of New York City, this one coming courtesy of Riot-Stock on DA. Not a lot of my images are complete without making use of one of the Cosmos skies from Resurgere, and this one comes from their Cosmos Pack 2 on DA. The models reflection was added by cutting out a copy of her, transforming her horizontally and setting the opacity to 35%. The reflection of the apartment was created by taking a photo of a room of mine and setting the opacity to 11% which ensured the reflection was fainter than the model. I'm not sure whether the lens flare was going to work, but it seemed that something was missing when I removed it ... so it stayed as part of the final image. Enjoy ... Tony. The reflections are lens flare worked out extremely well here, Tony. Your attempt at realism has been achieved and very impressively, I might add.
