Description

Visited the Maquoketa Caves today. They are simply amazing!! This view is standing inside one of the caves looking out. I'm not sure how many I'll actually post ...cause I took like 96 pics...out of 16 different caves....so you see my dilemma! Hope you all are having a terrific and inspiring Labor Day Weekend!! Trina Zoom as always

Great shot Bug !!!! The best part about these caves is you circle your way DOWN to get to them!!!! And then after a couple hrs or more it's time to go about a half mile straight up to get to your car!!!! The way back realy ain't that bad if you don't mind hearin your knees poppin and spittin out a lung about 1/2 way up!! Ever seen the way a cowboy walks after a long trail ride? At least there walkin..... I don't think I'll walk again for the next 2 days!!!!! Hey Hun would you please go out to the shop and get that little fridge and a drop cord and set it beside the couch and plug it in for me ,PLEEEEEEAAAZZZ!!!!!!! I aint sayin I would'nt go back.... but next time I'll stay uptop and look at the pics taken by those redfaced, returning hill climbers, and I will be grinning!!!! .... Tom

Eminent, your best photograph ever. The contrast between the light outside and dark inside makes for a perfect shot! I am sorry you had to walk so far and endure hardship but you must suffer for the art! Unlike Tom who only paint one hour per day with beer and sandwish within reach..
