Description
Today, my wife gets into the tub and... she was not alone!
I don't like these animals very much, but, who has to do the execution?... Such spiders like dark corners and wait for flies without disturbing anybody, yes I know, but I DON'T WANT TO SHARE MY HOUSE and SPECIALLY MY TUB WITH THEM!!!
Picture taken with a flashlight.

It's a hard call. Spiders are just about man's best friend...but I don't care for them on me or near me...but I usually try to remove them to the outside. But this looks like a rather LARGE one...maybe a wolf spider? Shudder!!!

Great shot.

Awww it's cute! ;) J'avais une veritable phobie des araignés jusqu'au jour ou j'ai commencé à les prendre en photo. Maintenant je les regarde d'un autre oeil et je n'ai plus peur. C'est curieux.

HAHA! I have a HUUUGE one of that kind in this room. Every time I try to catch it, it hides in the door panel. I have seen it for weeks now. But I hate the harvestmen, because they put webs all over my house. Excellent capture.

Could be a wolf spider. It is getting to that time of the year with spring coming that the little (and some not so little) guys are out looking for new digs and dinner. Do you have venomous spiders in your area? I'd check for a violin pattern (Brown recluse spider) on the body just in case before you try to save it--nasty bite, but not fatal. spiders.ucr.edu/recluseid.html
