Description

Dave and his "boys" ( one 27 the other 29 ), are getting ready for a mega battle on the Warhammer fantasy battle table. These are the first four photos I took. They had put some of the buildings and towns folk on the board. This one is going to last them quite a few weekends. I know once the battle commences, they will be down there on Friday nights, all day Saturday and well into that night until the battle is over. They are still building their armies, and putting together the opponents armies as well. Just by the many discussions I have been privy to I can tell this is going to be of epic proportion. They always love making it a real challenge. The mornings after the battles from the night before and while Dave is still sleeping, I always go down to the battle room and see if anything has changed. Battles this size take a longtime to go through each turn. So sometimes it doesn't change much from turn to turn. If it has I snap away. Thanks for all the support, love and prayers. Have an incredible Sunday. I love you very much, Cheri

Geez,...We were just in the process of setting up the town, really don't have much here as of yet, as we were determining the scenario and how it will play out. What's seen here is just the beginning ideas, the town looks so much different, more buildings and townsfolk. In fact today, we removed pretty much them all and now have shots of a part of the invading army roaming the streets, searching for those that took refuge before or during the invasion. I don't know how interesting this is going to be for you all, but I can tell you it's a lot of fun to play. This particular battle is almost a tactical nightmare, much easier to defend something than try to take it back. A good portion of the army, allied against us is dead hard, they certainly have the edge in this one. We'll have to strike fast and hard, making best use possible of their limited weaknesses. If you liked these shots, the next should really knock your socks off, the ones following that a gamers dream battle,......or nightmare. Nice grabs here my little ninja, hope they realize that this gets way better!

The only mega that I'm familiar with has to do with money...such as in megabucks. Toyland, joyland, da di da da, da da.......so quaint and something to look for in one's life.

Good start up shots Cheri...will look forward to seeing more as things develop. I worked for 18 years bringing computerized wargames to our entire Army all over the US, to include Hawaii and Alaska, Germany, South Korea and several other places depending on where we were deployed at the time.

I've never actually stuck around long enough to see this sort of thing play out! My friends who play don't set it up at my house, though ... I always have the option of going home, because watching them play is slightly less interesting than watching paint dry! LOL!
