Hi there. Today I start a small series with beetles. This one is a rove beetle - I think it could be Velleius dilatatus or Ocypus olens, but I'm not sure. They are mostly predators. Have a great day and zoom in, if you like. Edit: The plant is a Stinging nettle (Urtica).
