Hi Friends!
Ok...Tolkien again!
Legolas is a character in J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium, featured in The Lord of the Rings. He is an Elf from the Woodland Realm and one of nine members of the Fellowship of the Ring.
I could say a lot of things about him and his story but I think better only to show you how I see him.

Oh my...I had to wait a moment to wipe the drool off of my keyboard, LOL!!! This is a simply gorgeous picture! I am a HUGE LOTR fan and this picture is wonderful. While it is not 'movie' Legolas, he is just wonderful!!! The outfit is stunning and the armor looks SO elven...beautiful yet funcational. Please feel free to create more LOTR pics, LOL!! Wish I could give it more than five stars!!

Cara amiga amo J. R. R. Tolkien e ví O Senhor dos Aneis várias vezes (menos o primeiro filme este só ví uma vez). Sua interpretação está fantástica o olhar esta fascinante (como dira o Sr. Spock). Vou agora mesmo dar uma olhada nos trabalhos de sua filha...antes que me obriguem a ir a praia, combinamos de sair cedo mais as mulheres de minha vida só se arrumaram agora. Adorei!!!! WOW!!! This is incredibly well done, Awesome work!! It's also nice to see more LOTR fans. Your vision of Legolas is way cool and you have him clothed perfectly, more green, more of the way I envisioned him garbed, than the way he was portrayed in the movies. Please do more.

May I say it - this is your best yet IMHO. The character, lighting and pose perfectly fit the atmosphere of a fantasy figure. You must continue with this style - it is your own. One small nit-pick and that's the grass - it appears to be poking through his boots?

catsy_lu huh?? i will visit her straight away,and for legolas i do love him. well i read most of tolkien i started in the early 80s with the silmarillion and then i carrried on until today,have even the ones wich his son released from the old works,different points of stories and well i love it.

Wow this is beautiful work. So nice to see male fantasy work done in such a classy and classical manner. His costuming is just perfect for a wood elf. Love the blend of mat and gloss and the fine detail work is popping out. His facial expression is to die for. He radiates the confidence of man who knows his place in the world, and is willing to pay the price for it. Love the attention to detail including the wonderfully embossed scripting of the title. I think I'm gonna have to try and steal some of your design elements - they are just so good.
