Description
Long story. I've wanted to get back into Bryce since it's so much fun. I wanted to render a couple of bottles and glasses with HDR lighting. Pretty much like this image. but after the first pass it was going to take 8 days! So as a test i produced a similar scene in Carrara. 3 minutes later I had this. I will play in bryce too. but more for sci-fi than realism.
The background is a photo I took yesterday in a coffee shop near me. I also created the HDR in Photomatix, using the same image. There is one additional light to bring out the label and book slightly and then some postwork using Alien Skin to give it a photographic look.

This turned out exceptionally cool. I love the effects from HDR, but you're right: It'll kill you in Bryce. :) This looks just like a photo, indeed. Great work.
