This is actually part Photo Manipulation and part 3D and part 2D. The horse head and eye on the left are a photo I took of my mare Angel, and the 3D horse on the right is created in Poser as a representation of her sire "Paragon". Angel's registered name is "Paragon's Morning Angel" and when asked of the owner of her sire, she stated she named her stud that because he was in her eyes, "a model or pattern of excellence or of a particular excellence". And of course in my eyes, Angel also is a model of particular excellence. In 1990, and 1991 she was awarded Grand Champion in her breed and class, and after many blue ribbons and championships even before she was old enough to be ridden, she earned two futurity cups. Angel was the first young mare in her age bracket to be the number one hopeful for the world breed championships in that following year but unfortunately I had to move to another state for family reasons and that was the end of Angel's show career. She is however and always will be my champion and the mare in my dreams, as well as my spirit horse.
