Description

Nothing special here just got today and wanted to test a B+W 77mm ND-110 (3.0) SH Filter This 10-stop filter is fantastic for producing long exposures during daylight hours. Exposures can run into minutes, even on a sunny day, turning water into a smooth milky texture, and clouds into a blur! It may take a while to get used to the filter, as foucssing and exposure needs to be adjusted before the filter is placed on the lens (it is too dark to meter/focus through), and you need to be able to add 10 stops onto the calculated exposure. But with a little bit of practice, this filter can render some amazing results, turning an ordinary scene into something otherworldly!" This is my first photo using it, I'm sure with some more practice I will get what it says above. This is 180 seconds in fairly bright sun light. Thank you for looking, as always any comments or suggestions welcome 8~) ** BEST VIEWED FULLSIZE ** thumb_1944091.jpg

That sounds like a potentially spectacular toy. I look forward to more experiments if this one is anything to go by. :-)

Der Graufilter wirkt total gut. Die Wasseroberfläche ist schön anzusehen. Eine feine Arbeit.
