Description

This is the dominant male West Lowland Gorilla, Ya Kwanza. He had his 25th birthday on 3 June 2009. He is considered to be in his prime weighing in at 216 kgs or about 34 stone. He has a serious expression but is deemed to be a good natured Gorilla. He was the first Gorilla to be born by artificial insemination in Melbourne, Australia and came to Durrells in 1993. For those of you who sent your good wishes for my Foggy's results - the biopsy has come back negative of anything drastic. I am so relieved. Thank you to all who sent emails & made comments . See the power of prayer and thought, I knew he'd be OK, you walk in the light too, rewards are there for all who do :) This is a great shot Sue, but lookat! must you keep getting these shots of the ex?...Mind you, you did get the good side I suppose ROFL! Speaking of weighing in at a havy KG, my ex asked me to buy her something that shines and goes from 0 to 200 in ten seconds, so I got her some bathroom scales LMAO here :)
