Excellent rendering, but the ship is wrong for 1941. Looks like a Vietnam-era destroyer-escort. A four-piper such as the Clemson class would have been more accurate.

Tell Bard you were working on an interdimensional time shift and the escort popped up on 7 Dec 1941. Reminds me of a Twilight Zone episode where a M4 Sherman showed up at Little Big Horn. No? Well, you gotta work sometimes with the props you're dealt. ;o) Great composition though.
