Description
If you come to visit the Headlands you will find all sorts of wildflowers. Over the next few days I will be showing you some of them. I know next to nothing about flowers so any identification would be appreciated.

the white ones are Daisies, not sure about the pure yellow, though! Nice shot!

Great shot! My first thought was 'yellow and white, cool!' Then I noticed the ones (daisies?)that start with the one closest to the top edge. I like the way they progress into shade. We usually have great wildflowers thanks to Lady Bird Johnson, but the drought put a damper (no reverse pun intended) on that. Lovely flowers and capture.

I smiled when I saw this in thumbnail form for the first time. Last weekend I was looking at the images you selected as favorites and I thought it strange that you clearly loved flower imagery, of a high quality, yet you did not show any flowers in your gallery. Just getting around to it in your own time! This is an image that must be viewed at full size. When you have it large, look at the yellow flower just southeast of center. The way the light shimmers on the surface of the petals, captured beautifully here, is the reason these were named Buttercups. More flowers, please, Mark!
