Description


"Pavement Ants" Tetramorium caespitum. The nest was under a brick in the grass near a railway. The Ants are Ø 3,25mm "long".

Not my favorite subject matter, but an amazing shot! They look so fully formed (only scrunched up, pale and squishy) I wonder how much longer they'll be larvae. Excellent capture!
