Description

More candid portraiture from the Trifecta Venatorius. I don't remember what Shauna was looking at when I shot this, but whatever it was required her full attention and concentration! Shauna and Roy are a couple, and they were on the same team together at the Trifecta. She won two trophys her first time out, although I can't recall, now, what they were for. We don't give trophys lightly though, so I'm sure her participation level was excellent. I'm looking forward to seeing them again at next year's Hunt!

Why do we(humans) undertake this strange ritual of tongue out when concentrating ?..I am the worst for this, but strangely only when I am alone, I am otherwise very self conscious I may be doing it around others and honey if you read this, it's not Carte blanche for you to go post an image of me undertaking this ritual...LOL!...Super shot sweetie!

You captured a great concentration here. Looking your ISO, is on 100 so you must add some soft grain what is working great too.

btw, do we get to see any pictures of you at the Trifecta? Or are you the official photographer, and therefore you don't participate? Well this really is a shot of someone immersed in the moment, she bends into the shot and dominates it as I imagine her mindset dominates her; and the softer focus makes it seem a little like a dream or someone lost in thoughts. It's a nice and total enclosed moment, and a nice portrait of someone lost inside herself. (It's nice that all these friends are comfortable being displayed by name in your gallery. That's a very generous spirit. Good friends.)
