it's like you channeled Jane! You caught her way with cat postures, the way she combines them into a kind of continuous musical line (from cat to cat), the way she always has at least one animal looking right at us with penetrating eyes, the play with butterflies both near the cat's reach and far away (throughout the image), the interplay of the cats with the elements of her pictures like grass & flower & rocks etc, and the misty dissolve of the background as it recedes from the cats and from us. And yet the piece feels like you in every aspect. Great dedications are collaborations; they may be done by one artist, but the artist channels the other and comes out with a 'dual' work. This is one of the best examples of that I've ever seen: the meeting of Carol and Jane in one image. Made for a beautiful soul who's so kind to all of us & whose images give many people here great magic; and with your (ie, Carol's) usual seamless mastery & spontaneous eye, hand & heart. Beautiful dedi & image.

Cats are the only creatures I can think of that remain gorgeous and adorable from infancy to adulthood...though I suspect in some strange way that they also remain gloriously clueless to all things outside of feline interest. This is fantastic work, and it captures the personalities of kittens to a tee, and I know Jane must absolutely adore this!
