Dallas, got a soft machine; Houston, to close to New Orleans
New York got the ways and means but it just won't let you be.
Most of the cats that you meet on the street speak of true love,
Most of the time they're sittin' and cryin' at home.
One of these days they know they gotta get goin'
Out of the door and down on the street all alone.
Truckin', like the do-dah man. Once told me "You've got to play your hand"
Sometimes the cards ain't worth a damn, if you don't lay'em down,
Truckin', up to Buffalo. Been thinkin', you got to mellow slow.
Takes time, you pick a place to go and you just keep truckin' on.
Just having a bit of fun with another street scene I captured in Chicago... and a little bit of Jerry Garcia on electric guitar.
Anyone else know what a soft machine ??? I read it refers to a nite club in Dallas but not sure.
Thanks for the overwhelming comments on my last photo. I think I could do a gallery alone on the photos I shot in Chicago, lol thanks everyone.

Dave it is a street performer with his marionette puppets, check out Elvis there waiting his turn and I am trying to remember who the one on the far left was suppose to be, can anyone guess??
