Description

Watercolor of the Paladian bridge, I’ve made after one of our great holidays in this wonderful country. Prior Park landscape garden is set in a dramatic site running down a small steep valley, with fine views of the city of Bath, United Kingdom. Its many interesting features include a Palladian bridge (one of only 4 left in the world). Impressive! I lived in Bath for many years and wandered through the park on a few occasions. Why does this remind me of Pulteney Bridge? Did one influence the construction of the other?
