Description

In the first place I wanted to dedicate this image to the people who suffered a lost on this tragic date, but then I decided different, and I want to dedicate it to all the people who suffered a loss, but especially to those, where, the loss was due to a tragedy,or accident, the sudden loss. Although of course everyones personnel loss is for himself the biggest loss,I agree, but I think it the worst loss is the abrupt one, out of the blue,in the split of a second the world explodes and even ceases to exist, the Abyss a black hole.BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!. Having been through this twice with my wife utes children,I guess I know a little bit what I am talking about.(although not biologically, but they where my kids also) The sudden devastating blow, comes and you are unprepared, there is soo much you had to say,soo much you had to do,or to settle or whatever, all gone in a second, and this is a chapter wich will not soo easily be closed if at all. It takes a lot of mutual strength and understanding and faith ,otherwise the rest of the world around you ,husband or wife and family … will be blown away as well.suicide lingers around depression and all that. We have been through it and I must say without shrinky-shrinko business,(the first time in 1995(Diana) there was no help offered and in 2006 with her sons Steves train accident she went almost over the edge. Ute was lost over 9 years in medication and leading a zombie –life of a sort. I am very glad that she found her smile back and I thank everyday the big-chief for that. Ps.every loss is brutal also the “natural-normal”ones if I may say so,but maybe it is easier for a grown up to loose his parents because they are old ,then the other way around, that parents have to bury their kids is unnatural. I don’t know if I express myself correctly in english-its after all not my mother-tongue. I hope I did not open any wounds and did not hurt anybody with my words. We keep all of you in our heart and pray. Bless you all, take care and be safe.

WOW! Rene! Das ist wunderschön und die Emotionen die dahinter stecken, laßen einen die Tränen in die Augen treten. Eine wunderschöne idee und Umsetzung. Ich freue mich auch, daß Ute wieder lachen kann. Knuddel Euch beide.

Your heart is in the right place Rene. It is so nice to take today 9-11 to not only remember that horriblr tragidy that shook and changed the world but to to also think of all people who have lost the ones they loved. Young or old. It is so nice to see Ute's artwork and that she as found her way back from that very dark place called greif and depression. We know our loved ones are always with us in our hearts and in ou minds. We carry on but never forget them. With time we learn to tuck our loved ones in that special place in our hearts and we learn to laugh again and enjoy life. I believe that is what they would want us to do as we know they are all smiling down on us from heaven. Great thought for today my friend.

lovely image Rene well done my friend. Beautiful dedication here too Rene such lovely words and sad words' but I guess these things touch each one of us in one way or another eventually. I'm glad your heart is soft after all you and Ute have been through, as may would get mad, bitter and toughen up so to speak and become almost unfeeling toward the world and others. Lovely words my friend...

I've lost almost everyone I've ever loved. I know a bit about it. But I couldn't ever imagine the loss of a child. For that, my prayers will be sent.

This I must say, was somewhat of a surprise to me after seeing your usual whimsical images so often. We all have experienced losses in our lives, some more tragic and unneccessary than others but always deeply heartfelt. We grieve, we cry until there seems there are no more tears to come forth, we get angry, we hate life itself at times. We go on as best we can. You've expressed yourself very eloquently here Rene, and have created a lovely image.
