Hi Denise, Since you have a special affinity for certain English things...I thought you might like this English Sparrow for your birthday today!
I've been trying unsuccessfully for months to get a sharper focus on one of these guys (also known as a House Sparrow here in North America) but other than some graininess, this guy looks pretty handsome this morning. Hope you like him:)

even though it's hard to capture (something I take your word on, as I don't photograph), you captured a perfect pose to show all its coloring and roundness. Its feathers almost look like dog fur in places! And nice contrast of light & shade. A fine shot, and a fine dedi for one of our beloved & finest photographers, from one of our beloved & finest photographers. And really nice of you to remember when you're recovering!
