Description
Its back! I’ll do my best not to sandstone OD everyone this time ~ smile.
As the sun starts its late afternoon descent the Coyote Buttes disappear into darkness. The mesa where these remarkable formations are stays well lit.
Note the sandstone pattern in the rock. As one pans along from left to right, the band disappears; this is the soft pocket in the swirl. If so inclined, a close up of this “soft pocket” can be seen in my gallery from the first part of this series. Going up the mesa next post!
