My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

beautiful shadow play on the clematis petals. I like these after the blossoms have died too.

here we return to your crops of flowers which spread beyond the frame: Like a movie jump-cut that stops in the middle of an action, this kind of crop cuts off the 'action' of the flower (ie, it's reaching beyond the frame), which makes the action all the more apparent. The crop brings out the dynamism of the flowers, and makes them look like private glimpses. And yes, the petals are broad and well lit, and then sink into deep shadow: overshadowed. A high contrast shot. And nice detail on the stamens (they seem like islands here.) More nice flower work from you, and it's nice that you allowed some fascinating light & textures up at the top. A nice inclusion...
