Description

Fall is kind of a spiritual time...its a time of renewal when everything around us changes, and all of nature's beauty bursts' out in a celebration of rich & vibrant colors. Re-treating to her secret place high above the hill top away from the crowds, she leans against her favorite tree to take a moment to reflect and enjoy the splendor of Autumn's vibrant colors and hues. I wanted to do something outside the norm, so I chose to leave the bottom of the picture in grayscale to illustrate that Fall is made up not only of vibrant hues, but also dark grays. It also helps in making the Fall foliage the focal point of the image, which happens to also be her focal point. Her state of mind has turned off full perception of everything around her, except for this magical moment in nature. Character designed with Poser, further enhancement in Cinema 4D. Environment was created in Vue. Leaves and hair painted using Photoshop CS4. Previous Work: "Surrender"

You have a very interesting gallery my friend, I agree with everything you say in your presentation, About modefying the Poser figures in other programs, that the real challenge is making the poser models look realistic true to life and making them come alive, that the art work should tell a story, that you shall not just show a Poser figure but a whole scene, that a poser figure compliments the environment, even in that that you consentrate on the female gender. All of it is true even for me but it never tooccurred to me that you could modify the Poser figure, ie the MESH in another program like Cinema 4D. Thank you for the tip!

Superb image... very creative imagery. The gray tone immediately caught my interest and left me to ponder how I would go about creating such an affect... I like that when an image forces me to think about its creation. You certainly make your point with the gray on orange. Beautiful framing really tops off a classy image.

This must've taken alot of time and effort for setting up and combining all the elements involved. Though it conveys the theme and mood wonderfully, for when even on those gloomy days of overcast, theres still the colorfull leaves of fall.
