Description

"Looks like we picked up an unexpected stowaway at that last spaceport!" Hello and thanks for looking... I've been having some problems with Poser lately... I loaded the new Freak4 and the V4/M4 Creature Creator morphs, and when I loaded V4 into a Poser scene, it would crash. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling V4, M4, F4, and even Poser 7, with not much luck (originally the problem affected V4 and M4, and Poser would crash when I tried to move the Main Camera in the scene. Now Poser crashes when I try to save any scene with Vicky4 in it). Has anybody seen this problem before, and can anyone give me a suggestion on how to fix this? Cool scene. I have been having rendering crashes to desktop in P7 for some reason.

O yes, I had Big Problems with Poser7, could not save a thing, and when I openend one, it crashes....put a light extra, it crashes....I whas going nuts....!!! all on XP, now I use Poser Pro, and it runs smoothly....it's like a hole new Univers...Luv It...;) haved tried to Fix it(p7), but whas unsuccesful...!! Great Render btw...;)

And I bet he's not even house broken! :) Wonderful scene, Tom! Sorry to hear of your Poser problems. Aside from re-installing Poser I have to agree with flavia49. Contact DAZ and then Smith Micro. Good luck!

Very nice work, fabulous characters and one cool monster. I haven't ran into problems like that, although I'm not using M4. Are you using a external runtime? I know I've moved Vickie morphs into other locations and poser goes berserk!!

The only thing I can suggest trying is to run the DzCreateExPFiles-V4.bat in libraries/!DAZ after installing the Creature Creator morphs to make sure everything's in place. If you've reinstalled Poser but kept your runtime in place, V4 and her extended family won't work properly until you've run the Updater (or maybe the .bat file, can't remember offhand). I had similar problems until I remembered that I had installed Poser 6 after V4 (when I first got P6); I'm not sure if it's the same issue in P7. Whatever the case, good luck!

Great image Tom. Try malwarebytes. Be sure to update it before you scan. Hope you find the problem. I know one person who eventually just uninstalled V4 and won't use any of the gen 4 characters because of the crashing issue. I think their problem must be different from yours since you were able to use v4 before. Might want to check at DAZ. Maybe post this in their forum. Good luck
