I'm suspecting that if i looked at a cathedral through a prism thingy, it'd look like this! (then I'd probably get smacked in the head by a nun....)

As the principle (principium) is the start point, you are right. Indefinite starting points is opened before your regarding. Beautiful work!!!

(betcha didn't expect me to comment so soon! Life's full of surprises, lol...) It's always helpful to read the comments, it helps orient me in your universes...I must say, the 'whatever' part makes some sense to me, but your image is so sumptuous and ceremonial it almost feels like the 'whatever' is washed away by your eye & heart. I like the cathedral interpretation (Madbat) and the indefinite starting point (KataPan). Maybe 'whatever' is "we start anywhere & the world unfolds". Mandi, it's a beautiful image, an opening & ceremonious doorway surrounded by walls & wall-carvings and beautiful garden forms, and you've varied the focus and made layers that float and others that are concrete, and your color scheme is an undulating morph from hue to hue, they ooze out naturally across the piece. As a creator of digital abstracts, I look at pieces like this and think "how on earth did she do that!" But as a viewer, I think "organic & beautiful". A mysterious entrance, maybe dark in spots, but lush & sumptuous & I can barely stay away. Hope this wasn't miles from what you felt when you made it, lol...I've been known to miss pretty obvious things sometimes... (if you got several ebots, it's me...I'm messing up everywhere this morning!)

I see a couple of central characters in this one and they have a strong presence (I can't help it, I always see things no matter how abstract the work is). Their body language is indeed saying: whatever! I see one sitting on a couch, arms crossed, another one looking aggravated trying to get its point across. Both of them have masks on. I love the window effect--similar to a stained glass window behind them, taking it to a more spiritual level as if "whatever!" is part of the scheme of things. That's what I see. In any case, it's great as usual. You have a strong style that is all your own.

It has that Marzipan dimension that only can be accomplished through sheer discipline of focus, Extra tererestrial mind manipulation and other gifts from the gods. I appreciate this piece its mersmerically and stunningly compelling, The dimensions are Awesome in time and distance. Its almost a living and breathing entity as it kind of pulsates slowly! very absorbing and very must see kind of thing before you die!!! Love it!!
