The candles flickered, sending shadows around the room.. Dancer stood, nervous, waiting, listening.. Hoping.. Her soft hand shook as she sipped another glass of wine, would he come, would he come to me? The doors burst open and silhouetted in the darkness outside, stood a figure.. Soaked by the falling Rain outside.. His head raised to the skies, drinking it in.. Then he slowly looked at her and walked into the room.. The doors slammed behind him... A candle blew out.. Dancer's heart beat faster.. Excitement.. Rider, soaked, threw his cape in the corner and walked towards Dancer.. Her breathing grew quicker, eyes gazing at his.. Until, he stood before her.. Her hand rose and rested on his chest, stopping him short of her.. Lifting the glass of wine to his damp lips.. He drank.. A small drop ran from the side of his mouth.. She looked for a moment, leaned forward and licked it away.. again their eyes stared into each others.. Then the other candle blew out.... Rider..
