Description
This is one of the new characters from the Aranée story. Lord Jobil was a challenge because I worked him up in DS3 and I still haven't got the hang of the new lighting and texturing tricks in there. (This image only has two lights!) Also, I'm discovering there aren't many clothing options for M4 (or even V4) characters with "generous" dimensions. I actually envisioned LJ as a bit larger than this, but I couldn't keep him covered LOL!
This image has very minor postwork only. The background set is Mapps very excellent Walls Abound set. Most of the rest are bits and pieces of Daz freebees or purchases. A notable exception is the fabulous Vanishing Point 1812 British Officer set (purchased at CP) for M4, one of the few M4 clothing sets with "heavy" morphs.
Been away for a bit, first to work on some documentary videos. Then I went on a couple of photo jaunts, one to Lake Tahoe, the other to a regional airshow. I will post some photos from these trips as I get time.
I'm also still writing a bit - despite my 3rd "Misty" rejection. (sigh)
I've got a couple more characters to work up, then I will resume Aranée again. I promise!

Hi Larry, good to see you back! This looks like a great new character. He looks like a man of authority. The set is well-developed and you have really crisp ray trace shadows that look like they are coming through the multipane glass. I too have had trouble finding period piece costumes for M4 and have had to stay with M3 for some of my characters simply for a lack of clothes.

Great render and composition, Larry. LJ is a big guy.. but he seem properly dressed. Very good light setting on this scene. Makes a great atmosphere.+5 Sorry to hear Misty rejected again... It seems these publishers are really hard to get to. I hope your work goes through sooner or later, because it deserves it.

Nicely done, Larry! I am amazed at how much you convey about Jobil in this single image. The pose, expression, body type, clothing and setting speak volumes about the man - most impressive! The image is also impressive from a technical point of view - excellent lighting and shadows. Bravo!
