Description

When I rendered the first version, I was a bit in a rush because I had not very much time, so it only became 40% from what I have wanted to achieve. Therefor I did it again, this time paying more attention to the lights and composition. Alone the water shader has cost me a day (please take the time to look close at it) because I WANTED "REAL" WATER. So I digged through tuts until I finally found my own solution for realistic looking green, polluted water (and yes, I AM proud of it)... CREDITS for BG planets goes to funerium

Very cool image, would like to know how you created the realism in your water.. Been a constant pain trying to figure out how to get water to render without casting unsightly shadow's and little to no realism.

Since you commented on a couple of my images, I thought I'd look at some of yours. Wow! You do good work - very complex! Must take a long time to render - or do you do a lot of post-work? I especially like the water and alien flora in this image. But the concept is amazing! Thanks for interacting with someone who's just starting.
