Description

After a fleeting glimpse of the trailer for Avatar, I had an erge to create a pseudo-Discovey-Leonov-type vehicle. The center portion will rotate for artificle gravity. A rail system between the command and hab is being developed, and I may work on the spine not looking so fragile. I keep remembering that metorite shower in Mission to Mars

Looks impressive in low orbit, but I bet it's a real bitch to maneuver ! Kool modelling, IMHO, the cut-out effect in the sun lets the whole scene down, otherwise top shelf sci-fi fodder ! ~Cheers~

Yeah...That was a MY BAD decision trying to juice the most saturation out of the post render options in VUE. I need to calibrate my monitor.

Pretty cool design! The cut out isn't that bad, and might be something fuzzy and round between the planet and the sun...like a MOON, maybe? You did good,IMO.

The only thing that lets this down is the sun as was mentioned earlier.

Great lightning. 2001 - Space Odyssey inspiration is always cool.
