Description
In the shadows of my heart
She slips back and forth
She loves me
She loves me not
She can’t wait to tell me
Then she is scared to death
And tries to hide it from us both
I know
She wants to shout it from the mountain top
But she is afraid to let anyone know
So she hides in the shadow of my heart
And does little bitty things
That only I will know
That she is telling me
She loves me so
As always if you have someone you love and you are afraid to shout it out or let anyone know, then this poem is for you.
