Description

Another photo of Raskel, she is nine years old. We got her for my daughter, the year my son joined the Navy, and I felt it would lessen the pain of her brother being gone for her to have a buddy, and a buddy for sure Raskel became. She adores Erin, we go through this scene every night but the cat will go down the hallway to Erin’s room, and Erin by habit keeps her door shut, so Raskel will scratch and push at her door to get in, and if I am up at night I will hear her later doing the same thing from the inside of the room to want back out again, I have said to Erin many times why not just leave your door cracked or put her downstairs so she doesn’t constantly wake you, but it doesn’t seem to bother her, there are actually scratch marks on the frame of her door . Erin can be a heavy sleeper at times. The other thing she will do is if Erin is in the bathroom getting ready for school or to go somewhere the cat will lay near the bathroom door and practically put her paws under the door to get her attention it is so funny to watch her stretched out on the floor crying to get in and Erin will finally open door and let her in and about a minute later she will be wanting back out, once again bugging Erin. On the other hand Raskel has never once slept in my room, I’ve even brought her little bed into my room on occasions when Erin is gone, the most she will do is scratch at my door she’s actually opened it that way, jump on my bed and walked around to wake me because she wants outside. So you can see I don’t rate. Lol, she does give me kisses though, when she wants outside, I will sometimes say not every time because she does this all day, but I will say to her you have to give me kisses, and then I get down to her level and she will play this little game of walking over next to me a few times then she will kiss my nose it is adorable. Superb! I happen to be a card-carrying aelurophile, which is just a fancy way of saying "cat lovere." I get along so well with felines, which is a good thing because they're good company. I never actually see them as aloof or anything like that, they're just...well...they're cats, and they're so good at that! Fantastic work.
