Oh, that is beautiful! I have some pictures from Japan of water that color. I always remember it because of how struck I was at the time. Great composition! What a story of struggle is told by that little tree clinging to the hillside. A truely magical place, well captured!

Just north of Fort Bragg? I know a place that looks just like this and I took some shots about 5 minutes further north of it on the beach access. I wanted to go back next time and get a clear shot of the hole. Sure looks like it. Gorgeous spot in any case. Great shot.

Your gallery is becoming a virtual exploration for me. I am an East-coaster, born and raised. Over the years I have had two reasons, both women, for journeying out to California on a semi-regular basis. When I stayed I was based in San Diego and San Pedro, though we traveled around often. Several odd twists of fate nixed our trips to the northern half of the state. Never having made it to San Francisco is something that haunts me with regret to this day. As I say, it feels like a fate of sorts. Through your eyes I am beginning to explore the edges of the vast beauties that I have yet to experience first hand. Your work refreshes my intention for returning to the West, with camera in hand, to take in the many wonders I should have enjoyed many years ago. Thank you for this, Mark!
