Description

Terrain is by Andy Welder Aug_Sept Challenge terrain. This was a throw away image (Of Sorts) for this months terrain Challenge, I ended up using a different image for the actual contest (I'll Post That soon), My thanks to Savage Dragon, PPeterson and Mac who really helped me understand TG as far as creating atmospheres, surfacing and postwork. Comments and suggestions are welcomed. * I didn't win the contest and I'm not accepting an award :) I just wanted to take the time to thank the people who mentored me since I started working with TG. Still got lots to learn.

That's some great atmo! Maybe a second layer of snow with a high value for 'Scale Depth' and a even more limited 'Max Slope'is what comes to my mind regarding the surface.

You have struck a magnificent balance of terrain and sky here!!!!!! The sky is beautiful with a lovely thick, colorful atmosphere!!!! It gives a wonderful majestic feel and serene mood!!!!! The terrain flows nicely and is also finely balanced! Realistic and believable!!!! Instant favorite!!!!
