What a shot! I don't know why, but as I look at it, I'm reminded of the "futreshock" cyberpunk fiction of William Gibson: stuff like Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive especially: maybe it's because of the 20th century look of things in a situation that isn't exactly the 20th century. This works well as both an environmental study and a human study. I'm curious about this place and this person, and I keep finding myself attempting to read what's on those tags. This is great work.
