Have just discovered Bryce lighting effects.

Good job. Focus is on the gateway and the scene suggest mystery. Suggestion: place a flat disk across the "gateway" and use some sort of iridescent material and play with transparency and metallicity settings to suggest a rip in space/time to another distant place.
