Description

I believe this to be a Green Hornet but its hard to find facts about them in google so I'm not exactly sure, the tv show "Green Hornet" gets in the way. Opens in full view Update: Thanks to NightGallery for the link "BIG HELP". This is a Genus Agapostemon or Metallic Green Bee.

I tried green hornet fly, and got lots of info about fishing .. lol so sorry couldn't help, I am guessing someone here will know. Nice shot.

The information NightGallery posted is your best bet. I have or had a photo or two of these bees in my gallery past. I think they are one of natures neatest critters I ever got to photograph. Excellent close up
