Description

As I leave New England, I am posting my favorite fall photo. This covered bridge, is in Grafton, Vermont. As you can see, there is a gate and and is on private land. It is no longer safe enough to be used. But still beautiful. Thursday will be my last posting for 5 days. Heading to Florida,for the winter, early AM, on Sept 18th. I am a big fan of covered bridges, we have three that I have found in my area, the others I have found have been more of a drive, but always worth it something thrilling about them maybe because they are all so unique in their style, while they are built for a purpose more thought seems to go into the craftmenship and the outcomes are usually so striking. Have a safe and fun trip.

Heading for Florida for hurricane season are ya? LOL This is a great shot. I love the serenity of covered bridges and this one is nestled away in a particularly eye-catching spot. Excellent and enjoy your travels.

Oh, I wish I could have been in New England instead of south Texas for this last very hot and dry summer. The heat has only very recently begun to mitigate a tiny bit. I've never seen a covered bridge in person. Thanks for your great shots. This is beautiful!
