'The Old Maze' This simple-looking image was actually quite a challenge. The maze was created using a displacement map and the renderer kept falling over trying to deal with the large poly count. In the end I rendered the foreground separately and using an alpha channel I composited the whole thing in Photoshop. Thanks for looking. Tony

That's the thing that makes your work so amazing and makes it stand head and shoulders above most. Your instinct for details. Who would have thought to have that maze made for a background so lost in darkness? Yet there it is, dark, shadowy, spooky, and way scary! Another stunning scene where the lighting makes the mood, the details make the scene!
