Thanx a lot for all those VERY positive comments and rating. I made this model also as "painting" vers. but decidet to show the "brass" one. I am not very happy about the way of presentation. The problem is, i love to build models but i'm not an artist. I have not all the necessary skills in compositing, sophisticated backgrounds, sp. effects etc. so i decided for this simply neutral background. I am happy you enjoyed though. P.S. Modeled and rendered in MODO 201.

who needs sophisticated backgrounds and other trivia with this superb modeling? i would even have placed it against a black background which would have made the brass even brighter.

Outstanding! Scary amount of detail here. What software was used, and how long did it take?? Very well done indeed.

I think that this was one of the last of the great iron horses, the Big Boy I think it was called. You have certainly done this fine machine justice with a superbly detailed, accurately proportioned model. Simply astounding work!! Congrats on a stunning accomplishment!!!
